Single Layer Insulation

Single Layer Insulation Blanket (SLI)

AR Tech’s Single Layer insulation (SLI) blankets are primarily engineered and manufactured in compliance with our ISO9001:2008 & AS9100C international quality standards to maintain low temperature insulation, requirements of space launch vehicles.

SLIs are thermal insulations composed of one sheet of material. Being similar to MLIs, the main purpose is to reduce heat radiation. One layer of material normally has an aluminized side and is perforated to let air drain.

Purpose of Single Layer Blanket Insulation

The main purpose is to protect from heat loss of thermal radiation. AR Tech has access to a wide range of different raw materials many in stock to assist with all levels of temperature control. Please contact us for more information.
